A man and a woman were shot outside a public housing complex on the Upper West Side on Tuesday night, police said.

The victims were struck in the shooting outside the Wise Towers on Amsterdam Avenue near West 89th Street at about 8:40 p.m., according to cops.

The woman was grazed in the hand and ran towards Central Park before receiving medical care, police said

The man was shot in the chest. Both victims were taken to area hospitals and are expected to survive, police said.

No arrests were immediately made.
