A Brooklyn man who peddles weight-loss tools on Amazon burned his competition with fake product reviews, according to a Manhattan federal court lawsuit.
Hassane Kaba allegedly built market share for his SmackFat ketone-testing strips by posting bad Amazon reviews for his top competitor, One Earth Health Ketone Strips.
One Earth maker Lost Leaf wants an injunction to keep SmackFat from posting fake reviews, along with unspecified damages.
