A deadly blaze in a Hell’s Kitchen high-rise spread due to “dangerous, defective and unsafe conditions,” a new lawsuit alleges.

Edward Singh-Walia, a former resident at the luxury Strand Condominium on West 43rd Street, was injured in the Jan. 5, 2014, inferno, according to the Manhattan Supreme Court filing.

The fire broke out in apartment 20-D of the 42-story building about 11 a.m. Singh-Walia lived a floor above in unit 21-D. A faulty Christmas-tree wire sparked the deadly blaze.

The fire spread due the “failure and/or lack of” safety devices, the suit alleges.
