Hell’s Kitchen is really living up to its name.
Wild footage shows flames shooting out of a manhole outside an off-Broadway theater Saturday night — just one of a series of manhole fires that forced the evacuation of performances including “Jersey Boys” and “Avenue Q.”
“Heard FIVE manhole explosions on W 50th St. The first one was right outside Avenue Q theatre,” tweeted grad student Renee Xiaoyu Wang alongside footage of the inferno raging outside the New World Stages.
A viral video tweeted by Post columnist Nicole Gelinas showed one nonchalant pedestrian strolling past the same roaring fire without even turning their head.

No injuries were reported from the blazes, which took place around 8 p.m. outside the West 50th Street theater, near Eighth Avenue, but
“Thankfully, no one was hurt,” said Michael Coco, a rep for the theater complex.
Other plays canceled for the evening included “The Play That Goes Wrong,” ”Puffs” and “A Spirited History of Drinking.”
The fires were under control by 9:15 p.m., according to the FDNY.
