Fire officials say a person has died in a blaze at a high-rise building in the Bronx.

The body of a 53-year-old man was found in the bedroom, with his throat cut.

. The fire was reported at 9:27 a.m. Monday and was under control 17 minutes later.

The blaze broke out on the 14th floor of 69 West 225th St.

No other injuries were reported and no other information was immediately available.
