Parts of New York City once again reek of maple syrup — and the usual culprit is refusing to say whether it’s coming from its New Jersey plant.
Frutarom of North Bergen — one of the world’s largest fragrance and flavor makers — said it will not answer inquiries about the smell.
Since 2005, people have complained from time to time, and Mayor Bloomberg once identified the factory as the cause.
