A crew of six marijuana dealers was busted with 2¹/₂ tons of pot and up to $300,000 in cash while attempting to transfer the goods from a tractor-trailer in Queens early Monday, authorities said.

Officers from the DEA Enforcement Task Force nabbed the dealers as they were moving pot from one vehicle to another in Elmhurst, Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said.

When officers approached the operation they were “overwhelmed by a strong odor of marijuana emanating” from the trailer, Brown said.

The drugs were intended for distribution throughout New York City, officials said.

Between $200,000 and $300,000 cash was also recovered from the three vehicles.
