A water-main break caused a large sinkhole to open up on the Upper West Side on Monday, officials said.
The large hole formed on West 82nd St. between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue shortly after the water main break was reported around 9 a.m. officials said.
The FDNY, Con Edison and the city’s Dept. of Environmental Protection all responded to the scene to try and resolve the problem, officials said.
No injuries were reported
