This is the one about Matthew Perry’s “Friends” sweater heading to auction.
Props and costumes from the beloved sitcom are going under the hammer Sept. 23 to commemorate the show’s 30th anniversary.
The most-watched item up for bid is a cashmere sweater doomed actor Perry wore portraying Chandler Bing.
“The teal, 100% cashmere, polo-style sweater features long sleeves and a two-button
front closure. Labeled ‘Autumn Cashmere. Size L.'” reads the lot description. Julien's AuctionsThe pre-sale value was $1,500, but that should skyrocket in the wake of Perry’s Oct. 28, overdose death in Los Angeles and the arrest of his physician and drug dealer earlier in August.
