The city’s film industry deserves a thank you, not a head-butt, Mayor Bloomberg said yesterday.
Asked if it has grown too large — with street closings so prevalent that one fed-up Upper West Sider head-butted a production assistant over the weekend — Bloomberg said the activity is crucial for the city’s bottom line.
“Head-butting somebody just doesn’t make a lot of sense,” he said. “The real question is, do we want to have jobs for people so they can feed their family?”
