Ingrid Lewis-Martin, the brash consigliere of embattled Mayor Eric Adams, was accused Thursday of trading favors to two New York City hoteliers in exchange for more than $100,000 in bribes — which funded a Porsche for her DJ son and other luxuries, prosecutors said.

The highly-anticipated indictment in Manhattan Supreme Court levels bribery charges against Lewis-Martin, her son Glenn Martin II, hotelier Mayank Dwivedi and real estate investor Raizada Vaid in a staggering swath of alleged corruption that District Attorney Alvin Bragg deemed “naked cronyism.”

Lewis-Martin, 63, allegedly engaged in a years-long scheme to enrich herself and her son by trading favors for the developers  –  and even joked about raking in graft in texts and phone calls detailed in a court document filed with the indictment.

“Your sister has to be rich! I’m gonna retire,” Lewis-Martin quipped at one point, the document states.

The alleged conspiracy saw Lewis-Martin abuse her power as senior adviser to the mayor – who wasn’t implicated in the indictment – by recklessly fast-tracking city Department of Buildings permits for the rooftop bar Glass Ceiling in Koreatown and the 4-star Hotel on Rivington in the Lower East Side for Dwivedi and Vaid starting in November 2022, court papers state.

The longtime Adams confidant — and his No. 2 at City Hall until her sudden resignation over the weekend — tried to insulate herself by allegedly using her son, who professionally goes by DJ Suave Luciano, as an intermediary for the developers to make “asks” of her, prosecutors charged.

The developers in turn showered her son with two $50,000 checks, promised to foster his fashion line and lent him a hand as he tried to open a Chick-fil-A franchise, the documents contend.

The 38-year-old Martin II deposited the checks in an account shared with his public servant mother, and then transferred $50,000 to his business, Suave Productions, before using it to issue a $113,000 cashier’s check to buy a 2023 Porsche Panamera, which he couldn’t afford on his own, according to Bragg and court papers.

As the DJ shopped around for the Porsche, he told a car dealer that his father – a former NYPD cop and a friend of Adams going back to their police academy days decades ago – was the source of money for the luxury ride, the papers state.

At one point, DJ Suave had someone impersonate his father in a phone call with the dealer, court papers allege.

“After purchasing the Porsche from a different dealer in Manhattan, Martin II sent Lewis-Martin a photo of himself and ‘his father’ with the car,” the papers state. 

“She responded cheekily, ‘Is that your dad?’”

The remaining cash was spent on unspecified luxury items and other personal expenses, the papers state.

Martin II also allegedly enlisted the two real estate developers’ backing to open a Chick-Fil-A franchise — despite the fact that he had “no experience running a food service business,” court papers conted.

“You can sit with my girl and my comptroller, and you can just tell her what is what and then we can make it happen,” Vaid told Martin in a May 2024 phone call.

When it appeared likely in June 2024 that Martin would be able to open the location — based on a conversation with a real estate agent referred to mysteriously in court papers as “Jane Doe” — Lewis-Martin was elated, leading to her “Your sister has to be rich!” quip, filings state.

Lewis-Martin also took repeated, if sometimes clumsy, steps to cover up the corruption, prosecutors alleged.

She told the alleged conspirators to use the third-party encrypted messaging app Signal – which she set to make messages disappear after one hour – and use coded language, the document states.

“Next time just text me ‘trying to reach you[’] and I will Look for it,’” she told Vaid as he sought help in January 2023 for a “favor” on the Rivington project, court papers state.

By using DJ Suave’s bank accounts, Lewis-Martin also laundered the money, prosecutors argue.

Bragg, during a press conference outlining the accusations, called the scheme “corruption at the highest levels of city government.”

“We alleged Lewis-Martin acted as an on-call consultant, and she did so without regard for security considerations and with utter and complete disregard for jobs, expertise and the public servants who work there,” he said.

“Again and again she delivered for them.”

The investigation began in 2023 after former DOB Commissioner Eric Ulrich had his phones seized as part of a criminal gambling probe.

The alleged chicanery with inspections doesn’t appear to overlap with the tenure of Ulrich, an Adams ally who resigned in November 2022.

Dwivedi and Vaid, who is named as “Pinky” in the court documents, had a “quid pro quo” relationship with Lewis-Martin and Martin II based on their proximity to Adams, Bragg said. 

“Lewis-Martin would provide access to high-level government officials and take official action on behalf of Vaid and Dwivedi, and in return, Vaid and Dwivedi would give Lewis-Martin and Martin II money and other benefits,” court papers state. 

“In fact, Vaid stored Lewis-Martin’s contact information in his phone as ‘Ingrid Martin Eric Adams’ and Martin II’s phone number as ‘Glen Eric Adam [sic].’”

Lewis-Martin surrendered to authorities early Thursday, arriving at Manhattan Supreme Court wearing a leopard-print top and bold red lipstick along with her son. She was led into a courtroom in handcuffs Thursday afternoon and pleaded not guilty to the charges in the four-count indictment. 

Her lawyer, Arthur Aidala, afterward blasted the raps as “preposterous” — and claimed that the alleged bribes were part of a “business arrangement” between Martin II and the businessmen that was “totally legitimate.”

“Ingrid knew nothing about it! Nothing, zero, zilch,” Aidala said.

Martin II, Vaid and Dwivedi all pleaded not guilty as well.  All four defendants were released without bail and are due back in court Monday.

Manhattan prosecutors and DOI investigators jointly ran the probe into Lewis-Martin, who is a longtime confidante to Adams — and is now the highest-profile city officials to face charges since the mayor himself was indicted on federal corruption charges in late September.

Lewis-Martin’s anticipation of criminal charges led to her sudden resignation over the weekend, officials said — as well as defiant, preemptive Monday news conference with her attorney.

The pair lambasted Bragg’s office for allegedly conducting a “political” prosecution.

“I’m here falsely accused of something,” Lewis-Martin said. “I don’t know exactly what it is, but I know that I was told that it’s something that’s illegal, and I have never done anything illegal in my capacity in government.”

The indictment adds to Adams’ legal problems as multiple criminal investigations close in on his inner circle, with the mayor facing unprecedented federal bribery and corruption charges by Manhattan federal prosecutors.

Lewis-Martin had avoided the embarrassing federal raids and subpoenas that befell many of her colleagues — until, that is, she returned from a vacation to Japan in late September.

State and federal authorities were waiting for Lewis-Martin when her plane landed at JFK Airport, with the DA investigators taking her phone and feds slapping her with a subpoena for testimony in Adams’ corruption case.

The DA’s probe centered on City Hall’s leasing of commercial properties, the New York Times first reported. Those investigators also seized the phones of four others, including top city real estate official Jesse Hamilton and Diana Boutross, a private broker involved in city leases, sources told The Post.

After the airport surprise, Lewis-Martin made the stunning, if characteristically combative, step of appearing on Aidala’s radio show to defend herself.

“We are imperfect, but we’re not thieves, and I do believe that in the end, that the New York City public will see that we have not done anything illegal to the magnitude or scale that requires the federal government and the DA office to investigate us,” she said.

Lewis-Martin has served as Adams’ top adviser in City Hall, and she once described herself as his closest ally and — as she once told the New York Times — the mayor’s “sister ordained by God.”

But the pair’s decades-long relationship has become strained in recent months, as sources told The Post the once-inseparable duo have barely spoken.

Lewis-Martin abruptly resigned from City Hall on Sunday, about a month before she was scheduled to quit.

The indictment proved embarrassing for Dwivedi’s image as a hotelier catering to the rich.

Dwivedi’s portfolio includes The Maidstone hotel and The Capri Southampton, two luxurious Hamptons hotels.

He manages the Capri on behalf of celebrity attorney Mark Geragos, whose daughter Teny Geragos is Dwivedi’s lawyer.

She told The Post Wednesday night that Bragg “has an incomplete and inaccurate view of the facts.”

“We look forward to setting the record straight and proving Mr Dwivedi’s complete innocence,” she said.
