Mayor Bloomberg said yesterday that it’s troubling that none of the candidates running for his job are offering specifics about how to contain crime.

“It was really depressing,” the mayor said, speaking of a recent forum where all the candidates were asked to spell out their crime-fighting strategies.

“Not one had any creative ideas,” he said.
