Mayor Bloomberg is going to England next month to speak at the Conservative Party’s conference, his office said last night.

Bloomberg, who is friendly with Prime Minister David Cameron, praised the party’s fiscal policies when he was its keynote speaker five years ago.

Aides declined to say if he intends to do so at the Oct. 7 meeting. British press reports say that the mayor will boost the party by endorsing its austerity plan.
