Here’s a red light for rogue livery cabbies hell-bent on breaking the law.

Taxi brass cracked down on drivers who illegally — and dangerously — picked up street hails in a citywide sting over the weekend, writing 96 summonses.

So many Taxi and Limousine Commission agents were out in the Meatpacking District that one unlucky livery driver was caught in the dragnet twice — earning two tickets for pulling over for riders.

“I’m a Christian. I don’t know why the TLC is persecuting me!” he wailed upon getting his second violation of the night.

That driver faces up to $850 in total fines for the two summons — and will lose his license if caught a third time within 36 months.

Picking up illegal hails is deemed dangerous because unknowing riders could end up in a car with a driver who isn’t registered by the TLC.
