For all his chiseling, he might have been a sculptor.

Upper West Side painter Steven Colucci is the latest Medicaid millionaire sentenced in Manhattan for claiming $16,112 in benefits from the low-income assistance program, even though he owns two waterfront properties in the Hamptons.

“I had no medical insurance and I’m 40 years old,” the 57-year-old artist explained yesterday as he hobbled out of court on a cane after cutting a $19,036 restitution and penalty check.

He called himself a mime, a dancer and a fine artist, and said he’s having Oxford Health insurance take care of his current broken ankle.

“I slipped on the ice — on my way to heaven,” he said of the injury.

Colucci pleaded guilty in December to grand larceny and welfare fraud. He’ll serve five years’ probation.
