Three sons of fallen firefighter Carl Asaro play with Asaro, a canine trained to be an elite bomb-sniffer, who was named for their hero dad, a victim of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center.

The sons (from left) Carl Jr., Matt and Marc and their mom, Heloiza, met the dog for the first time last week at their dad’s former firehouse in Midtown.
