A menorah was set on fire outside a synagogue in Brooklyn early yesterday.
The five-foot menorah was burned at the Chabad Lubavitch of Kensington shortly after midnight, several hours before the beginning of Rosh Hashana, which celebrates the Jewish New Year.
No one was injured in the suspected arson, which police are investigating as a possible bias incident. No arrests had been made as of early today.
