The jobs of hundreds of city parking meter maintainers and collectors might be reading “expired” by next year.

The Bloomberg administration yesterday issued a “request for qualifications” for companies interested in privatizing meters on streets and in municipal lots.

There is no requirement to keep the unionized force of as many as 466 meter maintainers and collectors.
