The entire Metro-North train system ground to a halt Thursday night due to a power glitch, the MTA said.

Passengers had been stranded since 7:45 p.m. because of computer problems in the control room, the agency said.

Power was restored on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines just before 10 p.m., the MTA said, adding that passengers should still expect delays.

“We have been stranded for over an hour,” said Post reporter Michelle Celarier, who was struck on a train near 125th Street.

All Merto-North trains have heat and power and were ordered to stop at the nearest station.
