A Metro PCS employee was found dead with blunt trauma to his head inside his workplace’s storage room in Manhattan, police said today.

Victim Francisco Pinzon-Martinez , 30, of Hamilton Heights, was found unconscious with his shirt over his head by a coworker about 1:15 p.m. Friday.

A worker at the Broadway store in Harlem said the third-floor storage unit is where Metro PCS employees keep cell phones and other equipment.

There was a “long struggle” between the victim and the attacker, a law-enforcement source said. Police could not immediately say if any equipment or cash had been stolen from the room.

Pinzon-Martinez’s family last heard from him on Thursday night, when he went to close down the store, a relative said. He never showed up for his midnight shift at his second job in a nearby laundromat, where he worked to make extra cash to support his family back in Mexico.

No weapon was recovered and no arrests have been made, police said.
