“I would love to go. I think it would be fascinating,” Mayor Bloomberg said yesterday while meeting with astronaut Garrett Reisman at City Hall. It would take a Bloombergian bank account, but Virgin Galactic is accepting reservations — at $200,000 each.

Bloomberg mentioned his age, 68, but Reisman noted that John Glenn blasted back into space in his 70s.
