Mayor Bloomberg is heading to Jerusalem next month for the dedication on Oct. 23 of an ambulance station named in memory of his father.

The mayor donated millions to Magen David Adom — the Red Star of David — to modernize its outdated ambulance building.

It is being named the William H. Bloomberg Jerusalem MDA station in honor of the mayor’s father, who died in 1963.
