Mayor Bloomberg yesterday called New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie’s and Newark Mayor Cory Booker’s gripes about NYPD spying on Muslims in their state “a bit ridiculous.”

“We’re just not gonna put ourselves in a position where we can lose 3,000 people,” the mayor said on his radio show.

Christie and Booker have said the NYPD should have notified them before any such surveillance.
