BOONTON, N.J. — Heavy rain has caused minor to moderate flooding in parts of northern New Jersey.
The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for some small streams and rivers.
Forecasters are predicting moderate flooding along the Hackensack River in Rivervale and for the Passaic River at Pine Brook.
The weather service is calling for minor flooding for the Rockaway River at Boonton below the reservoir and for the Pequannock River below the Macopin Dam.
Forecasters expect the rivers to fall below flood stage by Friday evening.
