The two-day search for a missing epileptic woman in northern New Jersey ended in tragedy Saturday night, when her car was pulled from the Passaic River with her body inside, NBC news reported.
The car, a 1998 Mitsubishi Galant, was being driven by Devorah Stubin, of Passaic, when it apparently crashed through a fence behind a funeral home and rolled into the river, the website reported.
Stubin, 22, had last been seen in Maywood, NJ on Thursday night, during a traffic stop, according to northjersey.com. She told the cop that she was lost, and was given directions and an escort as far as Hackensack. From there, she vanished.
