‘Mob’ crane man victory
A state Supreme Court judge has reversed a New York City administrative ruling that revoked a crane operator’s license because he was an ex-con with connections to a mobbed-up union.
Judge Alice Schlesinger criticized as “unfair” a rule that crane operators must be of “good moral character” in order to have their licenses renewed, and ordered the city to reinstate the license of Louis Inglese.
