A flimflamming monk slapped the cellphone out of the hand of a New Jersey man Thursday when he tried to snap a pic of the faux friar in Times Square, cops said.

The unholy encounter happened on Broadway near West 44th Street just before 5 p.m. when the Jersey man tried to take a picture of the Queens man dressed up in a monk’s garb, according to cops.

Apparently, 55-year-old Zhang Zheshen didn’t want his photo taken — so he knocked the phone of the man’s hand, the NYPD said.

Zheshen was known to cops as a Times Square scammer who would rip off tourists by placing a cheap bracelet on a person’s wrist and demanding money, police sources told The Post.

The mock monk was arrested after the altercation and charged with misdemeanor assault, cops said.
