Hate nearly cost a Staten Island mom her son six years ago, and now, she claims, intolerance has claimed her livelihood.

Jeneba Ladepo has spent nine years caring for the disabled at United Cerebral Palsy of New York City. For much of that time, Ladepo was also caring for her son, Alie, who suffered a traumatic brain injury and seizures after being brutally beaten with a metal pipe on Election Night 2008.

Alie, then 17, was walking to his Stapleton home after watching Barack Obama’s presidential victory when he was set upon by a group of men who decided to attack African-Americans.

Alie’s condition worsened last year, prompting Ladepo to request time off from work under the Family and Medical Leave Act.

A two-week leave to care for Alie was initially approved, but the supervisor who OK’d it left, and the new boss berated her, Ladepo claims in a Manhattan federal court suit.

She was fired in July 2014 . The charity declined to comment.
