A Manhattan mom is suing the city and the Department of Education charging that a school employee perched her wheelchair-bound child at the edge of a flight of stairs at her East Harlem elementary school — and the 9-year-old girl fell face first, causing her to be hospitalized with a broken nose and broken teeth.

A spokesman with the city Law Department said their office “will review the complaint.”
