The mom of a 5-year-old Bronx girl whose suicidal dad jumped in front of an oncoming train while holding her Monday morning told The Post that she’s grateful to God for her daughter’s miraculous survival.

“She’s OK,” said Niurka Caraballo, gesturing to her daughter, who smiled at a Post reporter as the family prepared to leave Jacobi Medical Center Monday afternoon.

“Thank God,” added Caraballo, bursting into tears.

Cops presented the little girl with toys — including a “The Little Mermaid” doll nearly as tall as she is — and fitted her with an NYPD baseball cap, putting a smile on her face hours after the scare of her young lifetime.

The girl was standing with her father on the Kingsbridge Road No. 4 train platform around 8 a.m. when he grabbed her in his arms and leaped in front of a southbound train, according to cops.

The distraught dad — identified by police sources as Fernando Balbuena — was killed, but his daughter miraculously survived nearly unscathed.

Two good Samaritans leaped onto the tracks as she crawled out from under the train and helped get her to safety — in a dramatic scene caught on video.
