It’s an advisory for his campign kick-off tomorrow to reclaim his old seat – and he’s planning on discussing a violent incident in the area over the weekend.

But the word “stabbing” in the headline caught many readers by surprise – since Monserrate is now a “former senator” because he was convicted of a misdemeanor assault in a domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend.
