Watch out, Plax — Manhattan prosecutors want to block your furlough.

The DA’s Office will oppose the work-release application filed recently by former Giants superstar Plaxico Burress, senior officials said yesterday.

As The Post reported exclusively, just two months into his sentence, Burress hopes to leave prison at upstate Oneida Correctional Facility, where he’s serving two years for accidentally blasting himself in the thigh with his unlicensed Glock at the Latin Quarter nightclub last year.

The furlough would let Burress spend anywhere from one to seven nights a week sleeping at home. The DA’s office said it will submit papers in opposition, said chief assistant DA Mark Dwyer.

“The law-enforcement community worked at length to ensure tough sentences for gun possession,” Dwyer said. “If a defendant who has agreed to serve two years’ prison is very quickly released on work furlough, it will send the wrong message.”
