A man was killed today in Central Park after he lost control of his motorcycle at around 3:15 p.m., authorities said.

The 68-year-old driver was traveling along East Drive near 96th Street when he hit a guardrail and and crashed his BMW F650, police said.

The unidentified man was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, they said.
