A Queens motorcyclist was killed when he accidentally slammed into another car making a U-turn in Brooklyn, cops said.
Andrew Vasapoli, 33, was driving his 2010 green Kawasaki motorcycle west on Flatlands Avenue, from East 94th Street to East 93rd Street in Canarsie, just after 8 p.m. Monday when a 25-year-old woman driving a 2018 gray Hyundai Elantra tried to make a U-turn, from east- to westbound on Flatlands Avenue.
As the woman attempted to make the turn, Vasapoli, of Ridgewood, struck the left rear portion of the Hyundai and toppled to the ground, cops said.
First responders rushed him to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Hyundai driver remained on scene, and no arrests have been made.
