The motorman who MTA inspectors say overlooked the body of a young woman after she fell between cars on his subway train insists he’s being made a scapegoat.

“The MTA doesn’t know if she fell off my train or the train in front of me. They cannot figure out what happened,” said motorman Gregory Morano, recently demoted for the gory March accident that killed Arabell Lin, who had a prosthetic right leg.

All that the MTA bigs know is that “a prosthetic leg tripped the train brakes,” said Morano, of Dyker Heights in Brooklyn. “They wanted to fire me. I have a hearing in a month from now.”

The MTA said Morano didn’t spend enough time searching for Lin.

“I never saw the woman, and I feel very bad about that,” Morano told The Post.
