The man who co-wrote “Please, Mr. Postman” is now saying, “Please, give me back my money!”

Legendary Motown songwriter Brian Holland, who penned the 1961 hit for The Marvelettes, along with chart toppers like Marvin Gaye’s “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You)” and others, is suing a former financial adviser in Manhattan federal court.

Daniel Choueka, who runs Reach Out Entertainment, approached Holland in the fall of 2012. He promised to reduce the writer’s tax liabilities, but instead, told Holland’s accountants to loan him $580,000, without telling Holland, according to court papers .

Holland, 75, is seeking about $1 million. Choueka couldn’t be reached.
