State police who were searching for a stolen lawn mower in western New York say that they found it being operated by a drunk driver.

Troopers say the 28-year-old man was spotted on the Craftsman mower in the village of Bath, where he lives. They say his blood alcohol level was 0.1 percent, just above the 0.08 percent legal limit.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated unlicensed operation on Wednesday. As of Friday, he was still being held at the Steuben County Jail.
