A man randomly socked an MTA conductor in the face at a Bronx subway station, police said. 

The 46-year-old conductor was on the job and had just opened a train-car window at the 149th Street–Grand Concourse station around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when the assailant walked up to him and punched him without warning, cops said. 

The suspect – who said nothing during the attack – ran off and had not been caught by Monday morning.

Cops released surveillance footage late Sunday of the suspect passing through the emergency exit of the station. 

The victim was taken to Lincoln Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
