The train car from hell is going back where it came from.
After years of straphanger complaints about car 1872’s faulty air conditioner, the MTA has finally taken the cursed car off the tracks.
The agency said on Friday it was removing the car from the 1 line for a “regular scheduled 6-year overhaul” of its subsystems, including the air conditioner – a day after The Post inquired about all the complaints the hot car has received.
“Again another #1 train car 1872 with no working air conditioning 2kd [sic] time this week & it’s only Tuesday,” @LAZARO2626 tweeted at the MTA last week.
