Even people in Mayor Bloomberg’s inner circle are jumping on the Joe Lhota-for- mayor bandwagon.

MTA board member Mark Lebow — who is married to Deputy Mayor Patti Harris — introduced the agency chairman yesterday as “mayor-elect” at the monthly transit-committee meeting.

Lhota, a former city budget director under Rudy Giuliani, is being touted as a possible GOP mayoral candidate. But despite the drumbeat, Lhota has not indicated whether he will run.
