There’s been a shakeup in subway managers.

New MTA brass have replaced former subway chief, Steve Feil, with Carmen Bianco, a former MTA and Amtrak executive.

The changes – one in “a series” are managerial; riders won’t likely see any direct effects.

The new leadership will first take maintenance tasks out of the hands of “line managers” the individuals at New York City Transit who are directly responsible for a single subway line. Officials have said they were overwhelmed with maintenance tasks.

Feil will take a newly-created job as Vice President and Chief Maintenance Officer on March 1.
