The MTA is reminding New Yorkers how dangerous walking between two subway cars can be — after four people died this month attempting the stunt.
“We have been working on an awareness campaign that launched on our screens earlier this week and will be creating new stickers/decals for train cars,” tweeted Chief Customer Officer for New York City Transit Sarah Meyer.
An unidentified man was killed Saturday at 96th Street on the Q line. Someone else was hit by a train at Jamaica-179th Street on the F line Friday night.
“[We] need help from NYers to remind others how dangerous this can be,” Meyer wrote, adding that she’s open to suggestions from the public.
