The MTA has removed the urine-filled bottles that a motorman routinely tossed onto an awning at the elevated Astoria Boulevard station.
“We are in the process of getting hold of the train operator,” MTA spokesman Kevin Ortiz said, though he wouldn’t comment on what would happen once they find the small-bladdered motorman.
The MTA “strictly prohibits” littering of any kind, according to an agency rulebook. A transit source said the wizzing worker would likely be placed on probation.
“Maybe they need to allow longer breaks for MTA workers,” said Antun Grancaric, a 25-year-old Astoria resident.
