A suspected mugger accused of punching a woman in the face in Central Park last week for a measly dollar is in custody, officials told The Post.

Oscar Jiggetts, 55, was nabbed by cops early Tuesday for allegedly attacking the 26-year-old victim along a path on the park’s Great Hill last Wednesday morning, authorities said.

The victim was taking a stroll on the path near West 102nd Street and West Drive around 11:05 a.m. when the creep ran up and slugged her in the cheek and forehead, police said.

He snatched her purse and pocketed its contents, which included a $1 bill, a credit card, and a debit card, before throwing back the bag and running off, cops said.

The woman escaped serious injury.

“We collected a lot of video in the area and tracked him back to a store where he’s a regular,” a law enforcement source said of detectives’ efforts to track down Jiggetts.

Jiggetts was charged with robbery, grand larceny, and criminal possession of stolen property.
