A woman was murdered and her body left in a car in an office parking lot in Lynbrook, LI, authorities said today.

A Lynbrook cop on patrol found the unidentified victim in a Toyota Corolla at 8 a.m. and initially thought she was intoxicated or ill, officials said. But it became clear that she was dead, suffering from fatal head trauma — possibly from being shot, police said.

The car was parked in a partially covered lot underneath a medical office. The woman was found without identification, and no positive link has yet been made with the vehicle’s registered owner.
