Admission to nine Fifth Avenue museums will be free today for the 33rd annual Museum Mile Festival.

The event runs from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, on 82nd Street, to El Museo del Barrio, near 104th Street. The opening ceremony will be at the Neue Galerie, on 86th.

The others are Cooper-Hewitt, the Goethe Institut New York/German Cultural Center, the Guggenheim, the Jewish Museum, the Museum of the City of New York and the National Academy Museum & School.
