The Museum of Sex is a hotbed of sexual harassment, claims a new lawsuit.
Travis White alleges that a colleague kept her OnlyFans profile open on her computer — with a photo of her vagina on her screen for all to see — and regularly propositioned him.
Another co-worker asked him to “suck c–k” and left sex toys on his desk, White said in a legal filing.
Travis White’s colleague, Kit Richardson allegedly had her OnlyFans profile open on her computer and regularly propositioned him, he alleges. coquettewonkette/InstagramHe repeatedly complained about sexual harassment from museum product manager Kit Richardson, who mocked him when he objected to seeing her genitals on screen, according to White’s lawsuit.
“P–sy doesn’t bite. Did you bring a condom? Let’s get started,” she allegedly told him, according to the Manhattan Supreme Court filing.
White was hired as a retail manager at the Fifth Avenue monument to the erotic in November 2022, and said Richardson — who goes by the name Coquette Wonkette online — made a beeline for him.
“Are you into big girls?” she allegedly asked, rubbing his lower back, according to court papers.
His boss dismissed his complaints, White alleged.
“If you can’t get along with other members of the team who have been with the museum far before you arrived, then you won’t be working here for long,” Edward Rogers allegedly said.
Richardson allegedly bragged about using the sex toys she bought at the museum gift shop, White said in his lawsuit. coquettewonkette/InstagramWhen Richardson found out, she derided him as “a little bitch boy,” he said in the lawsuit.
She wasn’t the only colleague who tried to get a rise out of White.
Event manager Michael Delauretis allegedly lifted his shirt during an elevator ride and began rubbing his nipples, while looking White “directly in the eye,” according to the lawsuit.
In another incident he allegedly told White, “Anal sex would loosen you right up. You really need some.”
He also told him to “wear pants that show off your d–k print so that you can get bigger tips at the bar,” White said in the lawsuit.
Michael DeLauretis allegedly left so many sex toys on White’s desk it caught the attention of his superior. mikeydelauretis/InstagramHe also allegedly put an oversized dildo and a penis-shaped balloon on White’s desk until his supervisor asked, “Why are there always dildos on your desk?”
Things allegedly came to a head for White when he found out he and his partner were having a baby, and he requested three months paternity leave.
“That’s too long. Take a week off instead and then get back to business,” Rogers allegedly told him, adding, “I don’t respect men who take off for paternity leave.”
Museum bosses allegedly dismissed White’s concerns, he claimed. Helayne SeidmanHe was fired in April.
A lawyer for White, who is seeking unspecified damages, declined comment.
“The Museum of Sex categorically denies the allegations of harassment and discrimination contained in the complaint,” said David Cohen, a lawyer for the museum, who added the museum takes harassment complaints “seriously.”
Richardson and Delauretis couldn’t be reached.
