He allegedly marched to his own tune when dealing with the books, and now he may have to pay the piper.

Richard Miller, a former director of the Bronx Conservatory of Music, which offers low-cost lessons to the underprivileged, pilfered $40,000 from the nonprofit in bonuses and expenses, according to a suit filed by the charity in Bronx state Supreme Court.

“This is an outrageous abuse of his position,” said conservatory attorney Stuart Slotnick. A call to Miller’s New Jersey home wasn’t returned.
