This Revolutionary War re-enactment blew up in his face.

An actor hired for a battle scene between British and American soldiers for the CBS drama “Madam Secretary” got seriously injured when he test-fired a musket and it exploded, according to a lawsuit.

Robert Allegretto claims a Queens special-effects company modified weapons for the August 2016 shoot in Sands Point, then insisted re-enactors use its altered props instead of their own guns.

But The Specialists LTD firm allegedly failed to test their modified firearms, Allegretto charges in a Queens Supreme Court lawsuit.

The musket set off an “exceptionally loud explosion” which sent metal fragments into his face. Allegretto is seeking $500,000 damages.

The Specialists did not respond to a request for comment.
