A devout Muslim is suing the Gramercy Park Hotel because they wouldn’t hire him as a security guard unless he shaved his beard, according to a lawsuit.

Samir Suljovic, 24, claims he was the subject of religious discrimination when a hotel manager told him company policy requires all employees to be clean shaven. The hotel did not respond to requests for comment.
